Aloha Ola O Ka Pono Puna He'au is a start-up hula halau that is seeking members on the Puna Coast of the Big Island of Hawaii, as well as KUMU HULA candidates (we have one in mind who encompases our trye PUNA SPIRIT, and i am working on connwctong with her about this, she is a hard person to get ahold of, shes old school HAWAIIAN MANA.)

The halau's primary focus is Puna Culture Revival through ancient Hawaiian Puna chanting and hula. The halau's first mission is supporting the decades long fight within our sacred lands against Puna Geothermal Venture using peaceful and sacred offerings along our wahi pana areas (Puna is culturally regarded as one of the most sacred-wahi pana- areas in all the Hawaiian Islands , and PGV has been poisoningit and all life within it for over 3 decades now , above all law on earth, with no end in sight for concerned residents www.change.org/pgvpetitionaole ) .

The Aloha Ola O Ka Pono Puna He'au is dedicated to preserving the ancient Hawaiian culture and traditions within the Lower Puna coastal areas of moku o keawe, Hawaiian Kingdom. There seems to be some confusion about the status of Puna Culture down in the kumukahi/leilani/pohoiki areas , Puna Geothermal Venture Radius, so we will be joining the fight and helping in making sure our Puna culture stays alive and well , and stops being eradicated by Israeli owned ormat PGV.

The halau is looking for members who are passionate about preserving the Hawaiian culture and who are willing to work towards the halau's mission of preserving ancient Hawaiian culture down in the pohoiki to kalapana coastal areas (malama ki, MacKenzie, pohoiki, opihikau and all in between)

With all this being said , The halau is committed to using ancient Hawaiian practices to fight against Puna geothermal venture, and to actually preserve the Puna Coast for future generations.

Please email wearepuna@gmail.com for registration form to join, our first meeting will be as soon as we confirm a true PUNA KUMU HULA .

MAHALO
