"wow, I just found out that the new director of the health department gave PGV a modification on their air pollution permit to take off the number of wells being allowed as 14 - and make it unlimited!

The Health Department was supposed to give us a contested case on this matter before they issued the permit.n Time for the next lawsuit!

Your Clean Air Branch was ordered to give us a contested case hearing on the issuance of PGV’s NSP BEFORE YOU ISSUED THE PERMIT.

You folks just issued a changed permit which increased the number of geothermal wells PGV is allowed to have WITHOUT PUBLIC INPUT? You are supposed to be protecting the residents and the aina, not a for-profit polluter.

You at the CAB don’t even test for heavy metals in PGV’s emissions and your 3 perimeter Hydrogen Sulfide air sniffers are upwind and uphill where the wind doesn’t blow. How is that protecting us? A CONTESTED CASE WOULD LET US SHOW THAT IT IS NOT PROTECTING US!

Mr. Fink, how could you just approve this permit WITHOUT WAITING FOR PGV’S ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT STATEMENT SHOWING NO CUMULATIVE IMPACTS OF PRODUCING AND INJECTING 6 MILLION GALLONS A DAY INTO OUR FRACTURED VOLCANO WHERE THE LAVA ERUPTED IN 2018???

You were ordered by the Environmental Court in 2019 to give us a contested case. You don't get to issue a permit to PGV wihtout use getting to challenge it.
