"Curable" .. discovering this app and so far really liking the sound of it ..

I've been recommended this app a few different times . It's finally time I see what it's about ! When you start your " curable journey " , you are asked a series of questions to guide you to decide if it's the right app for you or not ..

The beginning has a great explanation of what it's all about, and I wanted to share for any fellow chronic pain warriors who read this blog 🌟

The mental conflict I have with this is something I'm working on. I literally have PTSD from doctors treating me as a seeker, doping me up and just sending me home for ten years ...

It took years and years of searching for a doctor to even be diagnosed with my chronic issues because the people they have here in Hawaii called doctors don't know how to really be doctors . Your actually lucky to even get aD, usually it's a Registered Nurse , and since the war on opioids started , the ones who really have issues are treated like druggies no matter what just because they have a daily prescriptionanyway , so it's just hard all around getting help with chronic pain.

I know I'm not alone , there's so many out there who deal with this . I was told for so many years that "it's just in my head" by different doctors who simply didn't know how to diagnose someone , so I think subconsciously my mind rejects the idea of actually fighting it with the mind . Even though we CAN do it , subconsciously I sabatoge myself I think .

BUT seeing this has actually given me hope . I hope it gives you hope as well.

his curable app is really catching my attention though , here's the rest of the session ...

I have a definite problem with the over sensitivity I think. Some days I marvel at the pain I AM able to withstand ...

But, at the same time there are days where I honestly feel like my body is just over reacting to everything and is actually always in a heightened state , so if we can learn better how to actually control our mind and reactions , because as this says ,the pain is centered in our minds ,not in the actual physical point of injury .... Maybe we could then learn to control how our body reacts to it...

Learning how to not catastrophize is something I need to do.

I can't wait to share my next session with you all.

I am not on any paid subscription , so I'll be sharing the free versions lessons with you all here . If you are someone who lives with #chronicpain and #invisibleillnesses , I really think this app Is for you .

#mentalhealthresources are something much needed in this age of stigmas and silence . We need to end the fear of talking about stuff with others . We need to work through our emotions to truly let them go .

Emotions , stress etc... are all connected to physical pain . Remember this also

Have a good night & remember

The world is better with you in it.

Aloha
