Notice :
Noticing is a shift in your attention that enhances self-awareness. For instance, if you notice that you’re about to freak out, you can decide not to. The point of noticing is to catch yourself in tense moments. The truth is, it’s possible to know that you’re about to explode even before you do, and you can actually stop yourself. Neuroscientist and author Dan Siegel describes the stages of explosion as:
• Trigger — explosion activator
• Transition — movement from being cool to crappy when you feel like you must explode, and the nervous system is amped up
• Immersion — actual shit-losing stage
• Recovery — pulling your shit together and reconnecting with your child
Noticing is a crucial step to calming down. Do not begin when you find yourself in stressful moments but start when it’s easy, like when you aren’t dealing with strong emotions and your nerves aren’t frazzled. Then, you can practice noticing when it’s easy. Streamline what you notice to yourself; your thoughts, feelings, what’s happening in your body, what you’re actually doing at the time, and notice your breath, as this will help you know when you’re about to freak out. Here are hacks to aid your noticing prowess; slow down, turn down the noise, single-task, and put physical reminders.
Pause:
A pause is a shift in your behavior. It involves taking a short break from whatever you're doing. Taking pause isnt about scrambling for a solution, making a plan, or plotting your revenge. If you're doing that, you haven't really taken time to pause.
To pause is to give yourself some
space to breathe and calm those nerves.
Doing literally anything else
The purpose of this is to calm you down,
divert attention to non-intense motions
and redirect the tense energy that s
building up within, and get you back on
track. Of course, you could keep silent,
walk away, watch your best TV series, get
silly, or do any other thing that will keep
you sane. Just whatever is on your "do
anything" list
Doing literally anything else!!!

I had to share this section of the book I am reading tonight, it's from the Headway app I talk about alot. This is literally what I've been making myself do the past few days, including right now sitting in the middle if my yard ,in the dark at 7:21 pm . I had to literally "do anything else"
It's been a hard, hard day for me and I genuinely want to be out of this funk fir jy families sake , but I also need to feel supported in my shit.
Anyway .. here's some more of the helpful read, the conclusion . Honestly these parenting books really can be applied to dealing with people in general, who can be quite childish when they choose to be.

Oh wow, you don't say?! Owning up to it and saying sorry !!? That's UNHEARD OF HERE AROUND THESE PARTS 🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄🤐🤐🤐🤐🤐🤐🤐🤐😵💫😵💫😵💫😵💫😵💫😵💫😵💫🤨🤨🤨🤨🤨🙄 Good Lord help us all.
Anyways . these reads 📚 always have a exercise at the end of them..here's this particular one--

Good luck yall.
Remember, you are worth it. Your feelings DO matter, even if others in the world are struggling as well. You are not doing anything wrong by setting boundaries, EXPECTING APOLOGIES FROM A$$WIPES , and you are doing what's best for you by even acknowledging your CPTSD and childhood traumas to work through them .
Things WILL be ok. You WILL BE OK.
I PROMISE
