They call Halemaumau crater "Pele's Bedroom" 🥰🥰🥰🔥🔥🔥🌋🌋🌋 I personally see #whatdreamsmaycome whenever I check the live webcams .. you also can see tutu Pele dancing all over her landscape 🥰🥰🔥🔥🌋🌋💃💃..
KILAUEA (VNUM #332010)
19°25'16" N 155°17'13" W, Summit Elevation 4091 ft (1247 m)
Current Volcano Alert Level: WATCH
Current Aviation Color Code: ORANGE
Activity Summary: The summit eruption of Kīlauea Volcano, within Halemaʻumaʻu crater, continued over the past 24 hours. All recent eruptive activity has been confined to the crater. No significant changes have been observed at the summit or in either rift zone.
Halemaʻumaʻu Lava Lake Observations: Eruption of lava from vents on the central eastern portion of Halemaʻumaʻu crater floor continued over the past 24 hours. Activity is concentrated in the eastern half of the crater and within the basin in the western half of the crater that was the focus of activity in 2021–2022. The active lava area in the eastern half of the crater now has one dominent fountain, and the active area has shrunk slightly over the past 24 hours. A live-stream video of the lava lake is available at: https://www.youtube.com/usgs/live.
Summit Observations: Summit tiltmeters recorded inflation over the past 24 hours. Volcanic tremor remains above background levels. A sulfur dioxide (SO2) emission rate of approximately 4,000 tonnes per day (t/d) was measured yesterday, January 8, 2023.
Rift Zone Observations: No unusual activity has been noted along the East Rift Zone or Southwest Rift Zone; low rates of ground deformation and seismicity continue along both. Measurements from continuous gas monitoring stations downwind of Puʻuʻōʻō in the middle East Rift Zone remain below detection limits for SO2, indicating that SO2 emissions from Puʻuʻōʻō are negligible.
Hazard Analysis: This eruption at Kīlauea's summit is occurring within a closed area of Hawaiʻi Volcanoes National Park. High levels of volcanic gas are the primary hazard of concern, as this hazard can have far-reaching effects downwind. Large amounts of volcanic gas—primarily water vapor (H2O), carbon dioxide (CO2), and sulfur dioxide (SO2)—are continuously released during eruptions of Kīlauea Volcano. As SO2 is released from the summit, it reacts in the atmosphere to create the visible haze known as vog (volcanic smog) that has been observed downwind of Kīlauea. Vog creates the potential for airborne health hazards to residents and visitors, damages agricultural crops and other plants, and affects livestock. For more information on gas hazards at the summit of Kīlauea, please see: https://pubs.er.usgs.gov/publication/fs20173017. Vog information can be found at https://vog.ivhhn.org.
Additional hazards include Pele's hair and other lightweight volcanic glass fragments from lava fountains that will fall downwind and dust the ground within a few hundred meters (yards) of the erupting fissure vent(s). Strong winds may waft lighter particles to greater distances. Residents should minimize exposure to these volcanic particles, which can cause skin and eye irritation.
Other significant hazards also remain around Kīlauea caldera from Halemaʻumaʻu crater wall instability, ground cracking, and rockfalls that can be enhanced by earthquakes within the area closed to the public. This underscores the extremely hazardous nature of the rim surrounding Halemaʻumaʻu crater, an area that has been closed to the public since early 2008.
For discussion of Kīlauea hazards, please see: https://www.usgs.gov/observatories/hawaiian-volcano-observatory/hazards.
Please see the Hawaiʻi Volcanoes National Park website for visitor information: https://www.nps.gov/havo/index.htm. Visitors to Hawaiʻi Volcanoes National Park should note that under southerly (non-trade) wind conditions, there is potential for a dusting of powdery to gritty ash composed of volcanic glass and rock fragments. These ashfalls represent a minor hazard, but visitors should be aware that such dustings at areas around the Kīlauea summit are possible.
The Hawaiian Volcano Observatory (HVO) continues to closely monitor Kīlauea volcano.
HVO will continue to issue daily Kīlauea volcano updates until further notice. Additional messages will be issued as needed.

This is something that we, as Big Island born and raised, live with on a day to day basis ...
A reason that I am super passionate about mental health support is we have none available in my town for those who really need it . So many here in my community live in constant stress and are STILL trying to recover . There are no resources for people struggling with depression anxiety and mental health issues , especially PTSD which reps and state dept of health know we all have down here ... Just recently in 2018 I lost everything I ever knew in a massive eruption in Leilani estates that took 700+ homes (Google search Leilani Estates Fissure 8 eruption 2018) ... It started on my home street , as we were inspecting cracks on the road , infront of my eyes . I will make a blog entry about it .... It took me a good year to really get back to reality and remember who I was after everything was wiped off the face of the earth....
I dreamed of the 2018 eruption for 5 years straight as a younger teen.... Exact same events that happened , and same exact frozen walls of lava ... Same as I've seen every eruption before it has happened , including the most recent Mauna Loa and this one that started a few days ago.... And every single major thing that has happened to me in life , before it happened 😭😭🙏🙏♾️🔥 I don't know why or how I see these things , and always in dreams...
Contribute to my anxiety and worry , as I never know exactly when these things will happen when I see them ... I just know they will 😔🙏
Anyone else experience these premonitions??
Do you have any Volcano stories , or natural disaster stories ? Email your story today to cptsdandme.wttc@gmail.com be added to a collective called "Through the Chaos; Emotional Aftermath of Natural Disasters" which is due to be published spring #2023 here in this blog . In this series we will also be including some footage of the 2018 #Fissure8eruption life experiences.. which will give a glimpse into life here in active lava lands , LERZ (Lower East Rift Zone) of Hawaii Island ..
Leave me a comment below..
Anyway, goodnight loves.
That's your #kilaueaVolcano #DailyUpdate !
Aloha xo jazzy

This was what I captioned my post on the Facebook page for the volcano pics .. one of my life missions is literally to help raise #awareness for a very serious issue in my community . The people need help here . Tutu Pele is my personal homegirl, 🌋🌋💃💃💃🌋🌋🌋🙏 that's for sure , And I plan to stop Puna Geothermal Venture one way or another.
#Halemaumau #PelesBedroom #AlohaTutu in 2018 Halemaumau drained and bursted out in 24 new small volcanoes , AKA fissures , in Leilani Estates , Hawaii Island (the neighborhood I was born and raised in, virtually, erasing all I ever knew from existence.) due to our "friendly neighborhood geothermal" who has been pounding holes in our ground for 40 years, and creating weak spots all under us so our volcanoes never make a safe ocean entry again .... They ( Puna Geothermal Venture Puna Geothermal Venture Puna Geothermal Venture )also have been continuously gassing all residents around and wildlife and covering it up for all this time ( with all of their money hungry, financially benefitting off others suffering, accomplices: HAWAII State Dept of Health=HI Hawaii County Civil Defense Agency Hawaii County R&D Hawaii House of Representatives - Majority United States Environmental Protection Agency FEMA Federal Emergency Management Agency @allwhosupportPGV not doing one thing to help anyone at all all these years . We NEED AWARENESS and I will fight till my last breaths to get it for my town... The corruption is royal here .)
Anyway , as long as this doesn't drain from Halemaumau though into those fissures from 2018 which are still active and pumping poisonois geothermal chemical glasses everyday ... We are ok down here... And its The reason a lot of my community is still stuck in CPTSD mode since 2018 and don't even realize it ( and still trying to recover ...) 🔥🌋💃🙏 Don't get me wrong, we love and respect tutu Pele here , the Hawaiian volcano goddess , she comes to ride the land of the bad ... Clean up... #AOLEPGV #WEAREPUNA #ITSTIMEWEBREATHE #WEAREMAUNALOA #WEAREHAWAIIANKINGDOM
